“Parenting Changes, But Never Ends…”

- Linda H. Burke

Certified in The Conscious Parenting Method in 2020,

Linda H. Burke began her parenting journey in 1996 with the birth of her son, and the birth of her daughter in 1999. At that time, she found herself seeking support and deeper understanding of the role of a parent. Soon after, with the help of her pediatrician and 9 mothers, she was able to launch sistermoms, a non-profit supporting the parenting journey of African American mothers. Growing to an international group of over 400 members, sistermoms continued as a busy listserv until 2019, when Yahoo.com discontinued its support of the group function. Meanwhile, in 2005, Ms Burke began studying the wisdom teachings of Dr. Shefali Tsabary, which introduced her to Conscious Parenting. Ultimately, she pursued helping other families through serving them as a Conscious Parent coach.
